Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort is set on Pantai Dalit beach surrounded by 400 acres of lush tropical vegetation, including a unique nature reserve. Here you'll meet Sabah's icon, the fascinating Orang Utan, as well as a remarkable array of indigenous flora and fauna. Unexpected encounters with hornbills who glide right overhead, peacocks walking by during breakfast, a friendly bear cat greeting you from a tree or the occasional wild rabbit, iguana or squirrel crossing your path are all part of the magic of this remarkable resort.
Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort goes beyond the offerings of Kota Kinabalu hotels by providing numerous options for relaxation. All ground-floor rooms have a private veranda accessible through verdant, landscaped - gardens. The upper floor rooms offer private balconies with views of the lush landscape and sea.
Rain forest rooms offer private balconies with views of the lush landscape.
Garden view rooms are the low floor sea facing rooms where the vegetation hides the view of the sea.
Sea view rooms are higher up and have views of the South China Sea.
Suites offer large and luxurious accommodation, and have the facilities as above plus extra touches such as DVD players, and private verandas with commanding views of the South China Sea and our luxuriant tropical gardens.
The new Ocean View Wing have luxurious rooms with large balconies with a jacuzzi bath, large day bed. There is free wifi and fixed internet access plus all the above facilities

-Tepi Laut Makan Street captures the nostalgia of Malaysia’s heritage of simple food stalls set along street and open-fronted shop-house restaurants, each offering tempting flavours and a special glimpse into the cuisines of Asia. Here you have six different kitchens each cooking distinct cuisines - rotis, stir fry, sea food, curry and more. You can eat as much as you like. On Fridays there is a cultural show to watch as well.
- The Golfers’ Terrace overlooks the 18-hole Dalit Bay championship golf course offering air-conditioned dining and outdoor seating at the deli counter.
-Coffee Terrace offers all-day dining outdoors or indoors. International and local dishes are featured, with plenty of health-conscious offerings and luscious tropical fruits.
