Carpe Vita is one of the newly built Maldivian Liveaboards designed and built by an experienced Maldivian boat builder, in wood. Taking all that was learned in building sistership Carpe Diem, itineraries offer 3 dives a day as standard. Carpe Vita's 10 guest cabins are divided into 3 categories over 3 decks and cater for a maximum of 20 divers. Imagine enjoying the beautiful Maldivian Sun, Sea, Sand and Stars while Scuba diving, Salsa dancing, Surfing, Sunbathing, Snorkelling and Swimming. A Liveaboard safari in the Maldives has never been so diverse and fun.
Accommodation aboard Carpe Vita
Carpe Vita has 10 comfortable cabins of different standards divided over 3 decks:
Suite - There are two upper deck Suites with King size beds that can be split into two singles if required.
Superior - There are two large Superior cabins on the middle deck with King size beds that can be split into two singles if required.
Standard - Located on the lower deck, the six good sized Standard cabins feature Queen-size and single beds.

The vessel offers an air-conditioned saloon on the main deck with a wide flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player, in house sound system, library and comfortable sitting area with plug points for laptop use. Outside in front of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable cushions, where you could have your afternoon tea while cruising and taking in the beautiful colors of the Indian Ocean. A 230m² sun deck with Jacuzzi, sun beds and shaded lounge area is also at your disposal.
Drink & Dine
You will enjoy the excellent variety of the fine-dining chef for European and international cuisine and the experienced local chef for a delicious variety of Maldivian, Thai and Indian cuisine. Main meals consist of pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch & dinner with snacks in between. Snacks, biscuits and fresh fruit are all complimentary. All drinks, except tea, coffee and drinking water are available for purchase onboard. Please, send an advanced notice for all diets.

Diving Facilities
The Carpe Vita Explorer will be accompanied by a specially designed new 61 foot diving dhoni (diving tender) to meet the needs and comfort of the divers today. On board we have a fully equipped PADI licensed dive school offering courses for beginners up to several specialty courses for the more experienced divers. All diving takes place from the spacious 18m long dhoni which is well equipped with air and nitrox compressors, a bathroom with fresh water shower, plenty of dedicated rinse tanks, wetsuit hangers and shelves for personal belongings.
