Four Seasons Explorer is a 39 metre catamaran, accommodating a maximum of 22 guests on diving and exploratory cruises through the Maldives.The luxury liveaboard visits isolated reefs, virgin dive-sites and remote breaks, uninhabited beaches and secluded village communities as it cruises between the Four Seasons resorts of Kuda Huraa, a private paradise of lush tropical gardens and remarkable surf, and Landaa Giraavaru, a pristine hideaway in the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

Accommodation aboard Four Seasons Explorer

Four Seasons Explorer has 10 comfortable rooms and spacious suite. The Main deck contains the State Rooms and on the Upper deck is the Explorer Suite. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a view of the Indian Ocean.
State Room: Located on the Main Deck with one king bed or two twin beds, a comfortable couch, a writing desk, a DVD/CD player, an MP3 cable connection, a refrigerated private bar, a telephone and an in-cabin safe. Full bathroom with cotton bathrobes, down pillows and duvets, make-up mirror, silk-padded hangers, slippers, hair dryer and hypoallergenic bedding on request.
Explorer Suite: Located on the upper deck with a king bed, a refrigerated private bar, along with a DVD/CD player, MP3 cable connection, telephone and in-cabin safe. Full bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower, WC, vanity, cotton bathrobes, down pillows and duvets, make-up mirror, silk-padded hangers, slippers, hair dryer and hypoallergenic bedding on request. The bathroom is connected to a walk-in wardrobe.
A treatment area is set up on the upper deck, where you can find Four Seasons Explorer's resident spa therapist for a relaxing Indian herbal-oil massage or a hydrating and refreshing sun-soother wrap.  Fees apply.
 

Drink & Dine

Dine in the air-conditioned dining room or its al fresco area.
Breakfast is served as an array of buffet and à la carte breakfast choices. Lunch and dinner menus change daily. Meals are all-inclusive – with the exception of alcoholic beverages – and vary between buffet and table service, shared in the company of other passengers.
Four Seasons Explorer’s indoor bar features comfy sofas adjacent to a relaxing lounge area. A second bar seats you outdoors on the sheltered lower sundeck.

Diving Facilities

Divers can usually expect two dives in the morning and one in the afternoon, with the option of additional sunrise, night and wreck excursions.
Multilingual dive staff and experienced crew, including a marine biologist (maximum 6:1 guest to dive-guide ratio, with those of similar experience levels grouped together where possible).
Diving conducted from a modern 16.7-metre (55-foot) support vessel, Aseykara II, a custom-designed dive dhoni with full safety and navigation equipment.

Separate nitrox and air compressor systems, full equipment for all on-board guests, including SCUBAPRO BCDs and regulators, Suunto computers and Cressi fins, surface marker buoy and Sea Marshall personal locator radio beacon for all divers, hot and cold showers on two sea-level platforms, dedicated fresh-water rinse tank for camera equipment, coffee- and tea-making facilities and post-dive refreshments.
